Three years ago, after spending far too many hours exploring the world of Red Dead Redemption 2, I wrote a short film script inspired by my love of Westerns. The screenplay went on to be longlisted in the Outstanding Screenplays Short Script Competition and selected for Short and Sweet Yorkshire, giving me the confidence to bring the project to life. As much as I love classic Westerns, I wanted to make one that felt closer to home. Rather than setting it in the American front
