WHO IS LEWIS WILLIAM ROBINSON?
Lewis William Robinson is a multi-award-winning filmmaker from Harrogate, North Yorkshire. He studied at Ashville College before graduating from MetFilm School at Ealing Studios in London. A lifelong passion for film and television inspired him to pursue a career dedicated to telling compelling stories for the screen.
Lewis has written and directed a number of acclaimed short films, as well as a feature film. His debut short, Forgotten, qualified for a BAFTA Award, marking an early milestone in his filmmaking career. He has since gone on to direct several award-winning shorts, including Addiction, Big Stack, and Easter Eggs, alongside his feature film Orchid Moon.
On Orchid Moon, Lewis had the opportunity to work alongside one of his childhood heroes, Frazer Hines, best known for portraying Jamie McCrimmon, companion to the Second Doctor in Doctor Who. Most recently, Lewis completed production on his new Western short film, The Man Who Danced to Town, filmed on location in Hebden Bridge.
When he is not making films, Lewis works at MetFilm School Leeds, where he helps inspire the next generation of filmmakers.
